On deck: The winner will advance to the regional finals on May 24th against winners from Chagrin Falls and Gilmore.
For the record: The two faced each other early in the season, and the Preppers won, just like they did in the regular season. College leads with a strong play from Preston Blue. He led the area with 67 goals and 49 assists, and has continued that pace during his postseason. The Preppers are also led by Charlie Freer (39 goals, 21 assists), Andrew Voinovich (33 goals, 20 assists) and Nico Alvarez (32 goals, 21 assists). The preppers’ defense was as strong as their offense. Cooper Murakha tied for the area lead with 41 strikeouts, and Julian Girgis caused 113 ground balls. The Knights want to get off to an early start, but must find a way around Magnus Holver’s strong goaltender, who has 126 saves.
