Forbes Travel Guide, an independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, 2023 Star Award Winners Includes Asheville hotel and restaurant on the famous Biltmore Estate.

Amanda Frazier, president of valuations at Forbes Travel Guide, said in a news release: “The hotels, ocean cruises, restaurants and spas on our 2023 star rating list create memorable environments that foster connection, joy and a sense of place as we experience the world at its fullest. In 1958, Forbes Travel Guide began as Mobile Travel Guide and created a unique five-star rating system for hospitality.
Five-star ratings are given to “distinguished and often iconic hotels with virtually impeccable service and outstanding facilities.”

A four-star rating is awarded to ‘exceptional properties that offer the highest level of service and facility quality’.
“Recommended” refers to “excellent properties with stable services and facilities”.
The Inn on Biltmore Estate has maintained its 4-star rating for 22 consecutive years since it first opened on its 8,000-acre property. The 210-room hotel offers views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers amenities such as common sitting areas, a library, The Spa at Biltmore, and an outdoor rimless pool and hot tub for on-site use.
