In February, the government converted Vodafone Idea’s interest valued at Rs 16.133 crore into shares after assurances from promoters that Vodafone Idea would attract new investment.
But Vodafone PLC, which owns 32% of Vodafone Idea, last week showed no cash injection in its 2023 earnings.
Vodafone Idea announced Thursday that its consolidated loss for the quarter ended March 31 narrowed to Rs 6,418.9 million.
