Let’s talk about Womxn held its inaugural Houston event last year and was not only successful, but also impressive as who are some of the city’s top women in the local food and beverage industry.Speak and Celebrate the Gold Glamor Bashwill be held on Sunday, March 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Karakol, located at 2200 Post Oak. Tickets are $100 per person, purchased online.
Hosted by multiple James Beard Award winners and semi-finalists for “Outstanding Restaurateur” Tracy Vought and longtime restaurateur Ali Jarrett of Harolds Restaurant, Bar & Terrace and Sharon Haynes tacos a go go, More than 20 other female managers participated. The event is also timed to kick off Women’s History Month and just before International Women’s Day.


Let’s talk about Womxn A volunteer-run, national coalition of women-owned food and beverage entrepreneurs that currently has 700 members and is present in 14 cities, all with local celebrations. Founded in Chicago by rice field. Dr. Rohini DayIndian Chinese restaurant owner Vermillion.
Our focus is on women’s entrepreneurial success, but men are also welcome to participate. The “Gold Glamor Bash Theme” encourages gold clothing and accessories.
