Srixon/Cleveland Golf is celebrating Brooks Koepka’s PGA Championship victory at Oak Hill. The 33-year-old American used 11 of the company’s clubs and golf balls to win his fifth major championship.
Signing with Srixon/Cleveland Golf in 2021, Koepka won his third Wanamaker Trophy using Srixon drivers and irons, Cleveland wedges and Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND balls.
It was a dominating performance from the Florida native, who rose to the top with a 66 in the third round and then edged the field at Sunday’s final round of 67 on the demanding Oak Hill course to clinch the championship by two shots. Koepka becomes only the third player in the strokeplay era to win three or more PGA Championships.
“This is unbelievable. Looking back two years ago, I’m so happy right now I’m at a loss for words,” said Koepka, who threatened to derail his career in 2020 and 2021 with a knee injury. I don’t have a list of five-time winners, but to be with a group with that name is truly incredible, something I never dreamed of as a kid, and this is It’s the coolest thing.”
Using the majority of Srixon and Cleveland golf products, Koepka was ranked 2nd in Strokes Gained Tee to Green and 1st overall in SG: Total.
