Helias Catholic High School Students Develop Friendships and Entrepreneurial Skills Through Coffee Business

Since December, teachers and students at Helias Catholic High School have been able to enjoy locally brewed coffee brought directly to their classroom doors during the first hour, courtesy of a pair of high school students.

Junior Mark McDonald and Senior Conor Mudd run Holly Grounds, an in-school coffee business and service activity. A teacher orders himself and interested students via Google Forms at the beginning of his one-hour class, and Conner and Mark choose from seasonal drinks such as hot apple cider, pumpkin spice, and peppermint mocha, to French vanilla, Visit each classroom with your order down to the salted caramel mocha. Or plain black coffee.
