Boise, Idaho — Two Witnesses from Lori Vallow’s sensational murder trial He testified how she tried to recruit them into the cult, promising to spare them their impending doom.

Future cult members told to keep away from children

On Wednesday, a former friend of Burrow’s described another chilling invitation to join a cult that had strict conditions.

“I’m going to have to be separated from my children,” April Raymond told jurors Wednesday.

Burrow pitched Raymond during a visit to their Hawaii home in early 2019. Raymond said Burrow looked radically different from fellow church members he befriended, vacationed with, and set play dates for the kids in 2016.

Specifically, Vallow has isolated himself from a handful of followers that Raymond called “The Podcast Group.” This is a reference to recordings Vallow made to amplify his Daybell teachings. An apocalyptic novelist, Davel taught his followers that they were gods who lived “multiple lives” and walked the earth, dating back to biblical times. ’” Raymond testified.

She told Raymond that those who opposed her were “zombie”.

On a trip to Hawaii in February 2019, Vallow told Raymond he needed help.

“She’s come to collect me,” said Raymond. “She said I played my part in their life. I have a big mission to do with her,” she said.

Raymond also testified that former cheerleader and former Wheel of Fortune contestant Barrow also brought news that she was divorcing her fourth husband, Charles Barrow.

“She said Charles was already dead and the demon living inside him was using his body as a host. The demon living inside Charles Barrow was named ‘Ned Schneider’. Raymond learned from Burrow.

“I asked her, ‘How did you know?'” Raymond said. “She said, ‘Because he’s short for her.'”
