Crop’s Commentary: It was a great week for the Preppers to maintain their unbeaten record by defeating Riverside (12-6), Revere (16-7) and Worcester (13-9). They cap off the regular season with two road games and a challenging home tilt. They first traveled to the Rocky River (May 4), picked up Shaker Heights (May 6), and concluded with his Battle of SOM at Gilmore (May 9). … Chagrin Falls is on his 5th straight win. Last week, the Tigers defeated Solon (12-7), CVCA (15-2) and Hoban (15-3). They kicked off the momentum with a trip to cross-town rivals Kenston (4 May) before two final home games against Rocky River (6 May) and Hudson (9 May). … The Lancers suffered their first loss of the season (18-12) as they lost to the Walsh Jesuits in a high-scoring affair. However, Gilmour told his mentor he recovered with a 10–4 win. They are currently preparing for a trip to Bay (May 5) before a trip to Chardon (May 3), and the aforementioned SOM battle. It was a split week for Riverside as well, but they rebounded with a win over Kenston (9-8) for the WRC title. The Beavers now look to build momentum and win over St. He Ignatius (May 6) before away pairings with Avon Lake (May 9) and Hawken (May 12). I’m here. … The Hawks had close wins over Copley (11-10) and Canfield (9-7). Rounding out the regular season are the Shakers (May 3), Akron SVSM (May 5), NDCL (May 9) and Riverside.
