The story takes place in an alternate reality where the Cold War has not ended and Soviet Kazakhstan is hit by an atomic bomb. A young club kid in Sweden who works for her one of the world’s hippest magazines is handed a report assignment from a restricted area.
Filming will begin in Gotland and Stockholm this spring. Kågerman and Lilja also wrote pictures. Nina Lund is the producer for You Saved Me AB. Co-producers are Film Stockholm, Gotland Film Fund and Film i Dalarna.
