GENEVA (Reuters) – Taiwan has failed to win an invitation to attend the World Health Organization’s annual meeting, even though it claims it is gaining support.
The annual meeting in Geneva on Monday decided not to invite Taiwan to the event, which will take place from May 21-30. China and Pakistan urged member states to reject Taiwan’s participation, while Eswatini and the Marshall Islands expressed their support.
