There, colonial men secretly anesthetized many women and raped them in their sleep. Upon learning of this, the women gather in a secret meeting to decide how they should respond to the man’s actions and whether or not to fight back. Written and directed by Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley and Rooney Mara as three women from the community.

If you’re in the mood to see one of the controversial yet critically acclaimed awards season movies, you can check it out whale On demand this week. Brendan Fraser, who has already won several awards for his performance in the film, is morbidly obese and desperate to reunite with his teenage daughter (Sadie Sink) with whom he has lost touch. Hong Chau, who is nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the film, plays Liz, Charlie’s friend and caretaker. Charlie’s portrayal in the film is called fatphobia, but now that he’s available to stream, he can decide for himself how he feels about it.
M Night Shyamalan’s latest Knock at the Cabin, is another of his creepy and twisted psychological nightmares. In this film, Dave Bautista plays the leader of four violent apocalyptic groups. They break into the cabin where young Wen (Kristen Kui) and her father Andrew and Eric (Ben Aldridge and Jonathan Groff) are vacationing. The family is told that the apocalypse is upon them and the whole world will be consumed by death and destruction unless they choose to sacrifice one of the three members of the family. It believes the whole thing to be a hoax created by unhinged captives until it actually begins to fall apart.
