USPS Mailman Robbed at Gunpoint in Peabody – Boston 25 News

PEABODY, Massachusetts — Authorities are looking for a man in his 20s who robbed a U.S. Postal Service employee at gunpoint in Peabody on Wednesday.

A mailman was delivering a letter on Veterans Memorial Drive when an armed suspect approached him from behind and demanded the key to his mailbox shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to Peabody Police.

The suspect is an African-American male in his 20s, approximately 5ft 08in tall. He was wearing a yellow hoodie and a puffy black jacket with a blue face mask.The suspect fled the scene in a gray Honda, police said.
